Tommy Copes, a funeral director at Oakey’s, has been around funeral service his entire life. An early interest in funeral service was sparked by spending time with his grandfather who owns a funeral home in Lebanon, Virginia.
Tommy attended Lord Botetourt High School and went on to pursue a business administration degree from Virginia Western and then to the Commonwealth Institute of Mortuary Science where he received a degree in Funeral Service.
When he is not helping families, he enjoys spending time with his wife Brianna and their two dachshunds. Tommy loves family, motorcycles and mustangs.
