Sandra was born and raised in Michigan, where she had a brief career in nursing before graduating from the Wayne State University School of Mortuary Science in 1998. A resident of Virginia since 2007, Sandra enjoys living in the Roanoke Valley. Sandra's compassionate nature and sense of civic duty have led her to volunteer as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters, work at the Bradley Free Clinic, become an Election Officer to help at local polling stations, and contribute to various diversity initiatives. Sandy is an animal rights advocate (Please spay or neuter your pets). She is a licensed funeral director in Michigan, North Carolina, and Virginia and in her spare time, Sandy enjoys motorcycle riding, perusing the stacks at the local libraries, and traveling the world to learn about different cultures.
