Lee E. Weaver

Lee Weaver, Manager of Oakey’s South Chapel, joined the Oakey’s staff in 2010. Lee is a 1994 graduate of Bassett High School and graduated from the Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in August, 1999. While attending Gupton-Jones, he was a member of the honor fraternity, Pi Sigma Eta. Lee is a member of the Floyd Moose Lodge and has served as President of the Blue Ridge Funeral Directors Association. In his spare time, Lee enjoys being outdoors, is a Hunter Education Instructor and has been active in the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Lee has one daughter, Savannah Rose Weaver, who attends Floyd County Schools. Lee and Savannah are big advocates of Down Syndrome Awareness and are active in the New River Valley Down Syndrome Association.
