We are pleased to announce the Oakey’s Hospice Caregivers Award winner for February 2016 is Cynde Brand of Good Samaritan Hospice.
Cynde was nominated for this award by her peers, friends and hospice families for her dedicated service to hospice patients and their families. She was selected for the award by independent judges, Nelson Harris and Donna Hopkins Britt.

“Cynde is the most compassionate loving hands-on nurse to all her clients. She is just an amazing caregiver who gives more of herself than most people do. She goes above and beyond in providing for the needs of all her clients/residents with respect and dignity always. She is an amazing nurse, co-worker and friend to all.
Cynde always insures comfort and love to all in need. She hands-on makes sure that people are well cared for, not mistreated, and loved at all times. She can make the residents smile and be peaceful with her loving stories and humor. I always enjoy working with her at every chance I get because she ensures a high standard of good quality care!! You can call her at all hours with needs or questions. She will never turn you away!”
