Cary Roebuck
We are pleased to announce the Oakey’s Hospice Caregivers Award winner for June 2016 is Cary Roebuck of Good Samaritan Hospice.
Cary was nominated for this award by her peers, friends and hospice families for her dedicated service to hospice patients and their families.
The following is from Cary’s nomination form:
“I’ve only known Cary 6-8 months. She was the best thing that happened to my hubby during his last days. She was very understanding of his hurts and needs. Also the needs of the family. I feel I have known her much more than 6-8 months and love her dearly as if I’d know her for years. I believe she went out of her way to make this family deal with the death of my husband. She has also been to visit the remaining family since the death of my husband. She’s welcome in my home any time. Hospice is a very fantastic organization.”
