Biography
Michelle Lee “Mitzi” Hale, 43, of Roanoke died Wednesday, April 25, 2012. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bill and Colleen Keith; maternal grandfather, Thomas McKinney; Nannie, Lora Lawhorn; and son, Travis Ellis Hale.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Jimmy and Sarah Keith; mother and stepfather, Jeanne and Charlie Rye; brother, C. W. Rye; sisters, Carmen Thomas and Cindy Defibaugh; sons, J.J. Wendell and Cody Hale; and daughter, Skylar Hale.
Mitzi was a sweet- natured person who loved everyone she knew, especially her children. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor David Derrow officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 7-9 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2012 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel, 982-2221, www.oakeys.com.
