Betty Robertson Cundiff, 79, of Roanoke, went to be with her maker, with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. She was a member of Shenandoah Baptist Church and a true believer in God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Josephine Robertson; brothers, Harry, Andrew and Jack Robertson; sister, Isabel Gadwah. She is survived by a son, Mike Cundiff; granddaughters, Elizabeth Jane Cundiff, Melissa Sue Hurley and husband, Andy Hurley; sister, Mary Robertson Chapman; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Gale Mundy. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Shenandoah Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Mullen and the Rev. Bob Alderman officiating. The interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Shenandoah Baptist Church. The family will be receiving friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Oakey’s North Chapel.
